his is the documented day-by-day history of the travels of the extremely wealthy, William K. Vanderbilt Jr. on his fabulous personal luxury steamship, "Ara" in 1927.   This amazing cruise was over 14,667 miles in length.   The trip commenced on January 30, 1927 in New York City.  After crossing the Atlantic, for months they cruised the Mediterranean, and returned to Newport, Rhode Island (Northport) on September 30, 1927.
This is the
First Limited Edition
that was personally published in
1927
by Mr. Vanderbilt.
These books were never for sale to the general public, but were gifted to personal friends of Mr. Vanderbilt!
