    1847 Rogers Bros Hallmark Bar Spoon w Twist Handle 5-3/4” x 1-7/8” Obovate Scoop.
    A terrific single specimen discovered in the miscellaneous drawer of my parents’ condo. A bar or dessert spoon which measures 5-3/4” long with an obovate / teardrop shaped bowl which is deeper than usual for sprinkling sweets such on ice cream sundaes, or in our Scandinavian household, Pearl Sugar on sweet baked treats.
    It weighs in at a full one once. The bowl of the spoon is 1-7/8” long x 1-1/8” wide. Holds basically a full Tablespoon of whatever you’re sprinkling or stirring into a cocktail or hot cocoa mug.
    Very nicely balanced, with a great tactile feel / “hand”. Located in Naples, FL for local pickup, ready to ship to you in a padded envelope.
