MOVIE ACCURATE Herbie the Love Bug and Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo self adhesive decals for your 1/32 scale Beetle.
Included are stripes for the bright blue from The Love Bug, and the darker blue from
Herbie Rides Again, Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, and Herbie Goes Bananas (before actually going bananas).
I was building a Herbie, and needed decals. Every decal set I could find was the wrong font, the wrong size, or wrong in some other way.
What is included;
Accurate "53" font.
at least 6  round 53gumballs
at least 2  round slightly smaller 53gumballs which may work better on the rear engine cover depending upon the year of your beetle.
at least 2 oblong 53gumballs which may work better on the frunk. The actual movie cars usually had the 5 and 3 further apart here due to the trim, so these have more space between the numbers.
at least 4   Love Bug blue racing stripes
at least 4   Monte Carlo blue racing stripes
at least 3 Rag top roof decals.
You will get at least 1 plain ragtop, 1 with a Love Bug stripe, and 1 with a Rides Again/Monte Carlo stripe.
The ragtop measures 1.15" x1.23". The stripe attached to the roof is 1.9" long. The length of this stripe is based on the 1/10 Tamiya Beetle, and then rescaled. It may not be ideal for your 1/32 scaled project.

Because you get two sets!!
You will get one set that is precut by die cutting machine for ease of use.
And an uncut set for the perfectionists.
Sometimes, not always, the machine can be off by a hair or two, and at 1/10 a hair is nothing, but at 1/32, it can be noticeable. I need to remove them to notice, which makes quality control difficult. Some people prefer the option to be able to do it by hand. So you'll be getting both a pre-cut and a noncut set. It's enough to do almost 4 cars!
-PRECUT Stickers
are printed on self adhesive vinyl.
It is sold as
“weather proof”
. I’ve been testing them bathroom showers, kitchen sinks, and outdoors and so far have seen no issues. Although they might be waterproof, they are not magic, please adhere only when fully dry and to a clean area. They are meant for a single application.
-UNCUT Stickers
are going to be vinyl laminated paper, which will be easier to cut, but not be fully waterproof. I've used them on my rc cars and have not had any problems washing them, but over exposure to water can be an issue for them. You can request pure vinyl for the uncut stickers at no extra cost, just send me a note.

As of Oct-19-2021 I have a new supplier.  This new vinyl combines the best qualities of my old materials previously offered without the drawbacks, and is far superior to anything I’ve sold before.

with the new material, please let me know as detailed as possible so I can try to correct the situation.
If you would prefer waterslides, let me know. Waterslides will not be pre-cut.
