Antique Child's Toy Cup Mug ~ Porcelain ~ White Green Trim and gold accent ~ Military Navy Sailor Boy in blue uniform with rifle bayonet and ship on water in background.
This is a very thin porcelain. When held up to the light I can see my fingers through it. There is a hairline stress crack which I can see on both the exterior as well as the interior of the cup (see photo 10 & 11). It goes down that one side of the cup. Some of the image is scratched (the blue on his uniform photo 7). The green trim at around the top edge is not perfectly even. (photo 3). It's hard to see but there is also some small gold paint accent on the handle as well as the very top rim of the cup. (photo 5).
Measures 1 1/4" tall. 2 3/4" long (side to handle) . Weighs just over 1 ounce (prior to packaging)
NOTE: I have come up empty handed on my search for this pattern or any information on this piece. If anyone knows anything on it and would like to share it we would love to hear from you.
