    Description

    Antique Boxwood Shipping Crate from National Biscuit Company. Crate is made from 12 1/4" x 1/4" Boxwood. Corners are heavily Finger Jointed. Measures 13 1/4" Wide x 12 1/2" Tall x 21 1/2" Deep, ( perfect for vinyl LP records). Red and Black Paper label has NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY, describes contents as " Shell Oysters Salted". Label has some pealing and wear, in Very good condition but has had a coat of lacquer or some other clear finish applied. There is another canning label on the side that has " Illinois Hort. & Yearbooks" written on it, so it was used to store other records too. Very nice OLD Crate.
