This is a really nice, small and popular amateur radio transceiver. The IC-706MKIIG is full of features. You can find the operating manual on the Icom site with a google search. I highly recommend that you study the many, many details and functions of this radio on the Icom site which is excellent.
I purchased this radio new and it is in very good condition. I had it as a backup radio but rarely used it. I have tested this radio in the last few days to see that it transmits as it should into a 50 ohm dummy load on all bands testing output with my WaveNode watt meter. I connected it to an antenna and listened to WWV on 10 Mhz and listened to SSB and CW on some of the ham bands. I went through all the menus and they all appear to work as intended. The radio case has a few blemishes but is generally in excellent condition. Please review the photos carefully.
That said, I have not tested every feature and function available in this radio nor have I done extensive transmit and receive testing. Only enough testing to determine that the radio is basically working. And because amateur radio transceivers can easily be damaged or destroyed by user error or lack of knowledge, THIS UNIT IS SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY AND NO RETURNS. Please review the photos and read the manual to be sure you know what you are buying.
I will ship this item with lots of padding and will send it insured. If it is damaged or lost in transit, you will need to file a claim with the carrier.
