Up for your consideration is a very nice TM-742A.  This unit has only the 144 and 440 MHz band modules installed.  This radio has received a thorough test bench inspection and alignment using calibrated test equipment. In addition, a new lithium backup battery has been installed as well as new pilot lamps in the display.
Unfortunately, I do not have the short interconnecting cable to allow the control head to mount to the rest of the radio.  But I did notice that there are a few of these here on eBay.
Other Options installed:
TSU-7 CTCSS Decode Option installed.
Measured Performance on 144 MHz band module:
Power Out (High):  50 watts
Power Out (Mid): 12 watts
Power Out (Low): 5 watts
Measured Performance on 440 MHz Band module:
Power Out (High):  26 watts
Power Out (Mid): 12 watts
Power Out (Low): 5 watts
Both band modules have excellent receive sensitivity, meeting the < 0.16uV for 12dB SINAD factory specification, and both modules’ transmit reference oscillators were aligned.  As a result, the transmit frequency accuracy is well within the ±100Hz factory specification.
Radio will come with a DTMF microphone, a DC power cord, and a mobile mounting bracket and hardware.  Also included on a USB thumb drive will be a copy of the Owner’s Manual, Service Manual, and Kenwood factory Service Bulletins.
