KENWOOD TR-7950 2 Meter FM Transceiver

Description

This ad is for a KENWOOD TR-7950 2 Meter FM Transceiver #3070129.
It is in good cosmetic condition but it has been modified.
The display is blank but you can enter frequencies with the keys and the memory function works.
The modifications include a fan, 2 modules mounted inside, a switch, and cable. I do not know what the modifications do, other than the fan.
The switch mounted on the top cover has to be in the OFF position in order to hear other stations.
Both the Receiver and Transmitter seem to work.
I was able to hear signals from several local repeaters.
I measured the RF power into a 50 ohm resistive dummy load 144MHz- 148 MHz at 40 watts on high and 4 watts on low.
