Description

Kenwood TS-850s HF Transceiver in excellent condition. I have personally powered it up and put it on the air for field day a few years back (pre-COVID), and it performed flawlessly, but it has been in storage several years because I inherited my father's Ten Tec (and I am a casual ham with no space for two radios!). The Kenwood has been covered in plastic in a non-smoking home with no moisture issues. I'd like to move it on to someone who will enjoy it.
Includes the pictured power supply and microphone. The radio and power supply will be professionally packed by UPS and shipped FOR FREE within the lower 48 states.

This transceiver has not been on air since storage, but has been powered up to take the photos you see here. Nothing under the hood has been altered (ie: caps have not been changed, etc.) under my ownership. I got it used. I have no reason to believe anything is wrong with it, but after receiving some questions, out of an abundance of caution, I must reiterate that I have no way to put it on the air at the moment, so it's best to consider it UNTESTED and sold AS-IS.
