What makes these hard hats different from our other Skullgard™ caps is the Large Shell size. If you work around high heat and need protection, these hard hats will protect your head from the heat. They're especially useful for environments that expose workers to extreme heat.
Although they're commonly used by welders, the MSA Skullgard™ jumbo helmets can be used by anyone, and they can deliver protection in many different types of environments. Since these hard hats are made with strips of fiberglass, they provide much better thermal resistance than our plastic hats.
