For sale is a Kenwood TS-50 HF Ham radio that needs repair or can be used for parts

Testing notes - Radio powers up, I hear static some times when radio was in FM mode and when I hooked up an antenna in SSB I could hear a static sounds some times but not always.  I did not hear any signals come into the radio but my antenna is pretty lousy. There is a good chance that the receiver just does not work ??   When in CW mode, I never was able to get radio to make static sound. I did try transmitting into my dummy load and I did not see any evidence of RF come out of the radio, it did not draw any amps when TX.  Appears the transmitter does not work.  The On Air light did illuminate when pushed the PTT on the mic.  Buttons beep or change display but I have no idea if those settings work.  I dont know how to operate this radio so no feature testing was done.  At times the meter shows full scale when its not hooked to an antenna.   The radio has obvious problems,  minimal testing done, I dont work on radios so I dont have any opinion about whats wrong with it.  It is sold as is and sold as broken / a non-working radio. Mic is included, Mic not tested for function, I dont know if mic has a problem.  No power cord included.
