A beautiful collectible 4 stamp block set of U.S. postage stamps issued in 1950 to honor Samuel Gompers, founder of the AFL, American Federation of Labor Union. His primary goal was to improve the standard of living for workers and was a strong advocate for women's rights.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as they day they were sold at the post office over 70 years ago!
Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift to anyone who belongs to a union or is interested in the history of labor unions!
