STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFERWARE POLYCHROME CHILD'S EMBOSSED A B C PLATE CHINESE VILLA

Description

Nice little transferware alphabet plate with embossed letters and polychrome decorated transferware scene. The embossed alphabet surrounds the well. The center scene depicts Asian people seated in front of a villa and is hand decorated in red, green, blue and yellow.
This plate measures about  6 1/4" diameter. There is a bit of discoloration but absolutely no damages. There is a small bit of kiln clay stuck near the letter Y. There are no manufacturer's markings.
A nice addition to any collection of children's dishes.
