Shake the cocktail to your desired dilution ratio.
Insert the Hawthorne Strainer coil side down into your 28oz Shaker tin.
Grasp the shaker tin near the top and use your index finger or first two fingers to hold the strainer in place.
Strain your cocktail into your selected glassware by securing the strainer and the tin with one hand and pouring gently.
At the end snap your wrist once towards the glass and then away from it to remove the last few drops of cocktail from the shaker tin.
If your cocktail is served with ice, strain it over fresh ice cubes. Garnish and serve.
