A test engineer checked each band for power output and receiver sensitivity. Has a small, light one inch scratch on the top surface of the cabinet, otherwise, very clean.

    Description

    This is a simple, yet effective transceiver that covers 160 through 10 meters, including the WARC bands.  Comes with Ten-Tec Model 260 Power Supply.
    No microphone.  Has SSB Wide and Narrow filters & CW wide and narrow filters.  With no antenna, there is a low-level ticking sound in the speaker audio that is not noticeable when an antenna is hooked up. There is a beeping sound on 3.5455 MHz, which is barely noticeable with an antenna hooked up.  Also, the rear DC power connection has a pin that tends to push in when plugging in the DC power cord from the power supply.  We’ve adjusted both parts of this connection, but if the transceiver fails to power up, look there first! Overall, this transceiver is in great shape for its nearly 40 years of age, thanks to TLC by the original owner.  We wish all transceivers were this simple to operate!
    NOTE:  The economy shipping options has been taking more than 20 days to deliver.  Until the service improves, we are not offering parcel select or media shipping options, thus more expensive options for shipping.  However, we will use the flat rate boxes if we can ship the item safely with them.  Also, by the time the item is put up for auction, we have already packed it for shipping.
