Vintage Child Cup Nursery Rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle" Porcelain Germany

Nursery rhyme child's cup "Hey Diddle the Cat and the Fiddle, The Cow Jumped over the Moon". True vintage colors paint a picture of the nursery rhyme favorite. The cow is jumping over the moon while a cat plays a fiddle and the dog is his companion. The colors are beautiful and the painting is very well done with no scuffs or discoloration. The cup was made in Germany.
This sweet little cup embodies the simple innocence of childhood. It is 2 1/2" in diameter and the height is 2 1/2". Some of the gold paint around the top lip has been worn with time. The handle has gold paint accents which can be easily seen in the photos.
This cup has obviously been cared for through the years and is in very good vintage condition. Although I do not know its exact age, it appears to be from the 1930's. It would make a unique gift or a wonderful, treasured keepsake and remembrance of times gone by.
