Description

Here is a child's sweet vintage tea and dinnerware set in lusterware, made in Japan. It was purchased in 1953 in Ohio and has been in storage since then, so no pieces are missing.
IT HAS SERVICE FOR SIX:  six plates, six cups, six saucers. There is also a meat platter, gravy boat, open vegetable bowl, and a lidded bowl with handles for mashed potatoes. Also a tea pot with lid, a creamer, and sugar bowl with lid. The dinner plates are 4 1/2" diameter. The cups are 2 1/2" diameter at the rim (so little children can actually drink from them).
Then the best part is the perfectly sized "silverware" (made of plastic) and two silver  candelabra with pretend candles, and a silver cake server and butter knife.
On two cups are tiny chips and a tiny chip on the rim of the mashed potato bowl under the lid. There is a strange black circle under the glaze on one of the saucers.
Original box included, of course.
