Vintage small BLACK HINGED BRACELET w/ RHINESTONES Bakelite Era Thermoset Weiss

Vintage
VERY SMALL*
elegant BLACK HINGED CLAMPER BRACELET with
brilliant
embedded RHINESTONES. Unsigned, possibly Weiss.
I am not certain what this bracelet is made of, but it
may
be resin washed Bakelite, resin washed Lucite or a clear  thermoset plastic with resin coating.
Please look  at the 5th picture
to see the clear yellowish areas by the hinge, where the black color has worn away on the
inner surface
.
The black resin (?)is
worn on the inside about  1/2" to 1" on either side of the hinge.
The resin coating is worn, which allows light to pass through the clear bracelet, as shown.
I have
not
been able to remove any more of the black resin by rubbing, and  I have no idea what initially caused the color loss or bare areas.
This bracelet is truly  the smallest clamper I have ever seen, so it was probabaly tight on the original  owners wrist,  which may have contributed to the wear.  I will  certify that it has been exactly as it is now for at least 40 years.
Overall condition is good to very good,
other than the worn area I just described, there is a tiny bit of glue residue around a rhinestone, but it is not obvious, and the outer edge of the hinge is bent, as shown. This was probably from trying  to open the bracelet too far in an attempt to put the tiny bracelet on the wrong way.   I do not not see any chips or cracks.  No loose or damaged rhinsestones. A litte green on the brass hinge.

MEASUREMENTS & FIT.
As you can see,  I have used the slender 5" to 5-1/2" wrist of my hand display to demonstrate the wrist size that will best fit this hinged bracelet without forcing to open too far.
It will open wide enough to easily slide over the  SIDE of the
5-1/2" wrist model ( total circumference) and still be able to turn easily into place without forcing or damaging the hinge.  IT MUST go on to the outer side of the wrist.  Its also important that your wrist be 1"  to 1-1/2" thick.
Bracelet INSIDE MEASUREMENTS: 2-3/8" wide x 1-1/4" tall in the center.
OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS : 3" wide x 2" tall.
Each Section: 3/4" wide x 5/16" thick.
INSIDE CIRCUMFERENCE
6". OUTSIDE CIRCUMFERENCE 8-1/2" .
**** This is a gorgeous sparkling bracelet but YOU NEED TO HAVE SLENDER WRISTS TO WEAR IT!  If you do, oh lucky you, you will LOVE IT!!
