Description

Yaesu FT-100, sold as is, please read below
I have not used this radio for many years. I dug it out of my Ham Radio stuff, and did some simple testing as described below. The last time I used this radio (many years ago) on HF, I recall it was working fine for me, but the mic was a bit flaky.
I did some simple testing:
The FT-100 transmitter has RF output to both an antenna and a dummy load on all 3 bands HF, 2m, and 70cm. I could also hear the SSB and FM audio from all 3 bands on another receiver. Included are 3 photos of the radio face on each of these bands, and you can see the red transmit indicator above the VFO, and the PO (Power Output) sale on the meter.
The FT-100 receiver has audio on all bands. From another radio, I transmitted SSB on 20M, and FM to VHF/UHF. All 3 bands have audio on the FT-100.
Other Information:
The Mounting Bracket and the controller extension cable from the YSK-100 Separation Kit is included, but I'm not sure what other hardware is missing. Everything I had in my box of stuff form this radio is included, see the pictures.
Known Issues:
The microphone cable near the mic itself has the outer sheath missing.  I had some electrical tape around it, and removed the tape so you cloud see. All the wires appear intact.
The microphone itself is a bit flaky when transmitting. I found it I pushed a bit harder on the PTT button, it seemed better. I'm guessing maybe an issue with the PTT button itself.
The last time I had used it on 2m, based on what some other hams were telling me, the transmit frequency appeared to be off. I believe this radio has an alignment procedure where this can be adjusted. When I monitored the 2m RF on the band scope of another radio, it does appear to be a bit off frequency.
One of the folding feet is missing.
Sold as is, this will go to the highest bidder.
Happy bidding!
