Very desirable, improved version MKIII/MK3 of the highly regarded YAESU FT-101ZD series of transceivers with a LATE production run serial number of: 1C 240435.
Radio is immaculate inside and out, top to bottom.
Comes loaded with all four filters including CW Narrow Filter: XF-8.9 HCN, XF-10HW, XF-8.9 HS, XF-8.9 HP,  along with rear mounted optional fan, two NOS Sylvania 6146B Final Amplifier tubes, RCA 12BY7A Driver tube, No. 24 Optional AM Board (uninstalled), Original Operating Manual, complete FT-101ZD "Survival Guide" in red binder, AC cable and Covercraft Custom Dust cover.

The Yaesu FT-101ZD MKIII is a SSB/CW amateur transceiver, It has a hybrid solid state design incorporating tube 12BY7A driver and 6146B finals, rated 180 watts, covering the 160 through 10 meter ham bands and the 30, 17, 12 meter WARC bands.

Variable IF Bandwidth
Using two 8-pole filters in the IF+ Yaesu's pioneering variable bandwidth system provides continuous control over the width of the IF passband — from 2.4 kHz down to 300 Hz — without the shortcomings of single-filter IF shift schemes, No need to buy separate filters for 1.8 kHz, 1,5 kHz, etc.
improved Receiver Selectivity
New on the FT-101 ZD Mk 111 is a high-performance audio peak/notch filter. Use the peak filter for single-signal CW reception, or choose the notch filter for nulling out annoying carriers ormterfering CW signals. In the CW mode, you can choose between the 2.4 kHz SSS filter and an optional CW filter (600 or 350 Hz) from the mode switch Diode Ring Front End
The FT-1Q1ZD now sports a high-level diode ring muter in the front end. This type of mixer, well known for its strong signal performance, is your assurance of maximum protection from intermod problems on todays crowded bands
WARC Bands Factory Installed
The FT-101 ZD Mk comes equipped with factory installation of the new 10, 18, and 24 MHz bands recently assigned to the Amateur Service at WARC. In the meantime, use the 10 MHz band for monitoring of WWV!
RF Speech Processor
Not an additional-cost option, the FT-101 ZD RF speech processor provides a significant increase in average SSB power output, for added! punch in those heavy DX piie-ups. The optimum processor level is easily set via a front panel control.
Worldwide Power Capability
Every FT-101 ZD comes equipped with a multi-tap power transformer, which can he easily modified from the stock 117 VAC to 100/110/200/ 220/234 VAC in minutes. A DC-DC converter is available as an option for mobile or battery operation.
