Yaesu FT-2900R 2 Meter FM Transceiver

Description

This radio came from a guy that races in Baja.  I guess the racers use this model as it can be modded.  Possibly to operate on other than the ham band. I was told that it recently started transmitting garble up voice and was hard to understand.  It is missing the other power plug end but I was careful and jump wired it and it powered on and showed a frequency on the display.  That is all that I did.  This radio is for someone with the experience to troubleshoot and repair.  Selling as is.  The mounting bracket is in the box. I will not ship to Hawaii or Alaska unless via flat rate USPS Priority Mail without oem box.
